Getting Started with BlogBuddy on WordPress

WordPress powers over 40% of the web, and BlogBuddy integrates seamlessly with it. Here's how to get started.

Prerequisites

• A WordPress site with admin access
• A BlogBuddy account (free tier works great!)

Step 1: Get Your Embed Code

1. Log into your BlogBuddy dashboard
2. Add your WordPress domain
3. Copy the embed code provided

Step 2: Add to WordPress

You have two options:

Option A: Use Our Plugin (Recommended)

1. Go to Plugins → Add New
2. Search for "BlogBuddy"
3. Install and activate
4. Enter your domain in the settings

Option B: Manual Installation

1. Go to Appearance → Theme Editor
2. Open your footer.php file
3. Paste the embed code before </body>
4. Save changes

Step 3: Configure

Visit any blog post on your site. You should see the BlogBuddy chat bubble in the corner. Click it to test!

Troubleshooting

Chat bubble not appearing?

• Clear your WordPress cache
• Check if your domain is correctly registered
• Ensure the script is loading (check browser console)
